  • The Kickstand is having another garage sale Saturday 7/24. Inventory includes card tables, t-shirts, speakers, a TI-83 plus graphing calculator, a toaster, genuine Epson ink cartridges (T0322), a 4″x6″ digital camera printer, aluminum ladders, bar stools, saw horses, hair weave, a leaf blower, and  furniture. How do we accumulate this stuff? We even have a real katana sword for sale. A freakin’ sword! Oh, we also have bikes, parts, and wheels too. Please tell your friends. This is, like, a real garage sale.

We do not accept donations anymore unless items are in perfect working condition.

The Kickstand is saying goodbye to our space at Main & Depot. THANK YOU to those who poured blood, sweat & tears into the space to keep it going for 2 1/2 years (?!). We’ll still exist in the community, but are reorganizing & space-hunting. If you know a place where we can take up residence, please let us know.We had a GARAGE SALE Saturday 7/17 from 8am-2pm @ The Kickstand. It was a great success.

The shop is closed for now. There are no hours when we are open. OK. Now what? We will reopen this Fall at the downtown Farmer’s market and other venues. Please stay tuned to this website or our social networking sites! Long term, we would like to take up residence in or around the new Depot Park.

Woohoo! We’re now A Project of the Civic Media Center and Library, Inc., Gainesville, Florida! This means we now have 501c3 non-profit sponsorship.

Don’t have the time to volunteer, no problem. We are now accepting donations through our site! Just hit the button below to make a safe and secure donation to the kickstand via PayPal. Every little bit helps.

Thanks to everyone for making our anniversary events a success. The shows were great, the scavenger hunt went well, and the movie rocked. Plan on coming to our third anniversary next year! Of course if you can’t wait, there’s always our August Chili Cookoff! Race results are posted below.

Volunteer mechanic workshop was 4/10 1-3pm. The workshop went well and included a one month apprenticeship as a mechanic at our shop. Attend our volunteer meeting or send us an email to register for our next workshop.
