About Us

The Gainesville Community Bicycle Project is a bicycle collective whose mission includes the provision of quality tools, parts and the knowledge of bicycle mechanics to empower individuals through community supported transportation.

The Kickstand is the physical bicycle shop operated by The Gainesville Community Bicycle Project, located at 722 South Main Street in Gainesville, Florida.

The GCBP has filed for non-profit status, and is working in conjunction with Gainesville's Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board on this and other items of mutual interest.
